Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Studio one 3 is a great DAW for both newbies and pros. IDK how!! I thought I knew what colors looked like but I guess I'm a chump. they get even prettier with each edition. I literally chose this DAW when I didn't know anything about production because it had the prettiest colors (Studio one 3). External sound card dropped in the mix and you can just go home and pee your pants, bro.Īlso this might sound extremely pleb but idc - the colors are bright and easy to navigate. even latency when playing guitar is minimal here. Studio One Professional features a 64-bit floating-point version of this audio engine that automatically switches between 64- and 32-bit operations on the fly to accommodate 32-bit plug-ins. I don't have to bounce my tracks very much, even with nice plugin chains (at 32 RAM which is ok). The way you can split these bars with the "grid" feature is stupid rad if you make hip hop. The workflow here is incredible, key commands are easy to learn and quick to customize and I can put down drum machine beats through the keyboard or Maschine or midi controller lightning fast. The first version of the Surface Studio launched in late.
STUDIO ONE 3 UPDATE UPDATE
So for a review to be worthwhile, the most important features unique to this DAW must be put to light. Microsoft has not announced the Surface Studio 3 yet, but a 2021 update to the desktop is likely. If a feature is missing, you can be damn certain that a gang of VSTs will be waiting to surround you, punch you lifeless, take your money and fill the void. We're coming to a time where basically every DAW on the market has added features for many editions, covering whatever people are missing and what the competition is doing.
